Headteacher and KS1 Class teacher
Cathryn
Benefer joined the school as headteacher in September
2002 on the retirement of Yvonne Thomas. Previously
she taught at Coldfair Green Community Primary at Knodishall,
Suffolk leading the early years provision there for
many years while her own children were growing up.
She
has a broad range of experience in primary school teaching
and managing, including working with Foundation Stage
and special needs children and working with other teachers
and students in an advisory capacity. She has an MA
in education from the University of East Anglia, Norwich.. |

David
Senior Teacher (KS2: Y3 and 4)
Ann began her career at Bramfield with a part-time post.
As the school numbers grew it became possible for her to take
on a full time role. Her broad range of teaching expertise,
including a special interest in drama, makes her invaluable
to the school. Mrs David is responsible for History and Geography
throughout the school. Mrs David has three sons in
further education and a younger son who currently attends
Westminster Abbey School in London.

Music
Sue Hoad is a specialist music teacher who was Head of Music at Saxmundham Middle School for many years. She teaches National Curriculum music, recorder to all Y3/4 children and piano to individuals. |

Art
Helen
is a specialist art teacher whose main work is at Thomas Mills High School, Framlingham. She has an MA inArt Education and is enjoying showing her skills with the Year 3 and 4 children. |

| PE Coaches
Gym, Hockey, Team Games, Dance and Football
PE Skills are taught in 6 week blocks and this year (05/06) we welcome a team of sports coaches to teach in each of the areas.. |

Head's Relief
Emma is in the school on Monday working with the youngest children. She is an experienced teacher of KS1 children and teaches Library, Numeracy and Science.
Vickie works on Thursday and has a particular interest in teaching RE and Maths. She is a teacher with many years primary experience who also works at Mellis Primary. |

Judy
Pymar has worked in the school since September 2000 and is
an invaluable member of the team, supporting the teachers,
liaising with parents and visitors and carrying out the daily
admin. duties for the school.She lives nearby in Halesworth
and has three children.

Crosby and Wendy Miles
Teaching Assistants KS2
Sue
Crosby came to Bramfield as a lunchtime supervisor initially
but liked the children so much that she asked to be considered
for a classroom support post. She supports pupils with special needs, and also
continues with her job at lunchtimes.
Wendy
Miles has worked at the school since 1994 as a classroom support
assistant and, for some of that time, has been a school governer
too. During this time she has gained experience of supporting
the older children with special needs and generally supporting
teacher's work in the classroom |

Foundation Stage Teaching Assistants
Heidi is a trained nursery nurse and has several years experience of working with this age group. She sets up activities for the youngest children and welcomes them to school.
Sheila assists her in this work and also helps to run Toddler Club. |

Additional Midday Supervisor / Classroom Assistant
Kerry
lives just over the road from the school and has two daughters
at the school. She has been an active leader of the Friends
of the School and an excellent fundraiser. Since September
2001 she has provided additional support as needed. |

Holmes
Caretaking and Cleaning
Anna
joined the school in Spring 2003, having moved to the village in September 2001 and
enjoys working in the community and outdoor pursuits, keeping
and riding her horses in the village. Living just over the
road she is able to keep a good eye on the school and has
quickly mastered all her many duties, including caring for
the swimming pool. |

Trussler
Cook
Lynne Trussler began working here as a lunchtime assistant and
then took over the role of cook. She prepares meals on the premises, always offering a vegetarian alternative and a choice of fresh fruit or dessert. The children appreciate all the little personal touches that she adds to her cooking and the way that she knows all their likes and dislikes.. |

| Lynne Buckingham
Lunchtime Supervisor
Lynn Buckingham must be the longest serving member of staff currently at Bramfield School. She works at lunchtimes, serving
meals, supervising the children and doing the washing up! She is
very much part of the school family and attends all our functions and helps to supervise children on school trips. |
