Bramfield
CEVC Primary School is a first school which caters for 4 - 9 year
old children. It is one of a number of very small schools in
North Suffolk that continue the traditions of being at the heart
of a small village yet 'look outwards' to provide a high quality
early education for the children.
It is situated,
tucked away, just off the road that runs through the village of
Bramfield from the A12 to Halesworth (turn right at the crossroads
by the Queens Head).
Headteacher's
Statement
"
I joined the School in September 2002 on the retirement of Mrs
Yvonne Thomas who had been headteacher for 12 years! My first
impressions of the school were of the wonderful setting, and also
the welcome extended to me by staff, governers and parents alike.
I
felt that the children were extremely lucky to have such a nurturing
start to their school life with small teaching groups and high
levels of adult support, both in school and from home. There is a strong tradition of music and drama in the school and the enthusiasm this generates helps develop the children's motivation for learning.
The
children here are bright and lively and they make good progress
in their learning. I think this is a good place for young children to
begin that educational experience that lasts from 4 - 18 (and
beyond)"
